Creamy and Zippy Spinach DipListed in Appetizers
- 20 oz fresh baby spinach OR 2 10 oz Bags frozen spinach
- 3-5 cloves of garlic finely sliced
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons TorchBearer Sultry Sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
Melt oil and butter in a pan. Cook the onion and garlic in pan with oil and butter. Chop the fresh spinach up or Thaw frozen spinach before placing in pan with everything else. Add salt and pepper to taste, and add T.B. Sultry Sauce and mix. Finally slowly add cream cheese to pan until it looks creamy.
This is good enough by itself to be a side dish to any meat. It flavors compliment anything from beef to pork, even chicken. Put a dollop or each onto a toasted slice of baguette and fall in love with something good.
