Brownies Diablo
Ingredients:
½ cup cocoa plus 1 teaspoon
½ cup flour plus 1 teaspoon
3/4 cup sugar
½ cup butter
¼ cup TorchBearer Sauces Mango-Papaya Sauce
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon ground red pepper
¼ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F
Grease a 9” baking pan.
Combine in a small bowl one teaspoon flour, one teaspoon cocoa and one teaspoon ground red pepper. Dust greased pan with mixture.
In a medium sized mixing bowl combine remainder of flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder.
In a small saucepan, melt butter, mix in sugar, Mango-Papaya Sauce and vanilla. Stir until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. With electric beater or wire whisk add the eggs one at a time, beating until mixture is smooth. Pour into mixture of dry ingredients and blend until smooth. Pour into greased baking pan and bake for about 20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted 2” from the center of pan. Cool on wire rack.
