“Della Spezia” Pizza Potatoes
2 pounds potatoes, thinly sliced
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
3 tablespoons flour
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
1 16 oz can of tomatoes, drained
1 8 oz can of tomato sauce
1/2 cup TorchBearer Sauces #7 Sultry Sauce
1 4 oz package Pepperoni
8 oz shredded mozzarella
Preheat oven to 400 F
Mix tomatoes, tomato sauce, #7 Sultry Sauce, flour, butter, onions, and spices. Place in a greased 2 quart casserole dish and place one layer of potatoes, then one layer of sauce, then one layer pepperoni, and finally one layer of cheese. Repeat until you fill dish. Bake covered for 45 minutes to an hour, then uncovered for 10 minutes.
Let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.
