I thought it might be weird, especially since World Market seems to have stopped carrying it before I gave it a try. Finally bought it direct from Torchbearer. It's kind of like a spicy worchestershire sauce. Full of umami, round, a bit sweet but not too much. Not so MUSHROOMY that you can only use it on portobello burgers or beef stroganoff, I happily use this on tons of stuff. Garlic Reaper= 1A, Mushroom Mayhem= 1B
I was looking for a hot sauce that offered something unique, and Mushroom Mayhem initially caught my attention for its promise of a distinct mushroom flavor paired with heat. Based on the name and concept, I expected the mushroom element to be a defining characteristic of the sauce.
However, after trying it, I did not notice any discernible mushroom flavor. Upon reviewing the ingredient list, I saw that mushroom appears in very small proportion, which likely explains why it does not come through in the taste.
Given the branding and expectation it sets, I believe increasing the prominence of the mushroom component could significantly enhance the product and better align it with what customers anticipate.
I really like this sauce. The flavor is amazing, the only thing to me is it's very very thick. I was able to thin it out without effecting the flavor and now I use it on everything. 👍👍Great job creators.
Great taste with right amount of heat.
I first tried this hot sauce when I was pregnant with my first born, because all I wanted was SPICE. This brings spice and some serious flavor. I put it on anything and everything; meatballs, steak, bacon, ramen, cheese, brussel sprouts, etc.
Now, five bottles consumed and 2 years later, guess who's pregnant again? And guess who is absolutely foaming at the mouth for this stuff? MOI.
Worth every penny.
